jEnergy is the newest company of the Jacorossi Family holding, which has been operating for over 100 years in sales and distribution of energy products. In the early 1900s the first coal shop was opened in the very centre of Rome. Throughout decades several generations followed, that with their own energies could shape the Energy according to the time and the market needs. From the “coal generation” of the early 1900s to that of the 1950s, the story of the family holding is marked by a continous evolution in the oil market; from the heat management services provided to Italian condominiums during the 60s to the joint venture with the ENI’s company Agip Petroli during the 70s; from the well kown acquisition during the 80s of the Texaco Italia – that became Maxcom Petroli

– to the entry into the naval bunkering market first and further into the aviation market during the 90s, that finally brought to today’s jEnergy: the company is involved in both wholesale and retail fuel oil markets, in the civil and military aviation and in the supply of naval fuels, handling a total of over 500,000 tons of “traditional” fuels and “alternative” sustainable products such as LNG, playing an active role in the energy transition.
